Changes to the Care Link service in Wakefield District
Private paying customers and VICO Homes Independent Living Scheme Tenants
Anyone who has a Care Link service that falls under these arrangements, Vico should have written to them by now to let them know what is happening.
If someone has any questions or not received a letter, then they should contact VICO Homes directly. They can contact VICO Homes Customer Contact Team on telephone 0345 8 507 507.

Council arranged Care Link customers
Anyone who has a Care Link service arranged by Wakefield Council as part of their care and support, the council is currently looking to find another service provider. Their service will continue until the new provider is ready to start. There should be no gaps in service.
The Council has already written to all the council arranged Care Link customers to tell them what is happening. The Council will write to people again to let them know when the new provider will take over and who it is.
If someone thinks they have a council arranged service, but they have not had a letter then they can contact Social Care Direct.
