Call for evidence launched for new Mental Health Strategy
The new strategy aims to shift care from crisis intervention towards earlier prevention.
The strategy will look beyond health care and consider the role of schools, workplaces, and the voluntary sector. It will also consider the needs of autistic people and those with ADHD.
The Call for Evidence is looking for examples of good practice, from across the UK and internationally, and from across sectors including:
- mental health and wider health services,
- local government,
- education and training settings,
- workplaces, and
- community settings.
The Call for Evidence is aimed at frontline workers, clinicians, and mental health experts. They expect respondents to be mainly service providers and those who have direct experience of service provision.
The Call for Evidence is open for eight weeks and closes on Friday 10 July.
