Wakefield District Health and Care Partnership wants your views on our local Walk-in Centre at King Street.

They want to hear from patients and local people about how they use the Walk-in Centre, what works well and where there might be opportunities to improve the service. Your views will help them understand local needs and shape future services in line with the latest NHS guidance.

Real voices, real impact in July, August, September

We are pleased to share our Quarter 2 Impact Report for 2025–2026, which highlights how people across the district have helped shape real improvements in health and social care in July, August, and September.
Between July and September, we listened to 340 personal experiences, and several important themes emerged, including long waits for referrals, gaps in communication, and people feeling they weren’t always taken seriously when seeking care.
