Help improve breast screening services for women in Wakefield District

Breast screening saves lives, yet not all women attend their first breast screening appointment.

The project is being run by an organisation called Caja.

Share your views

They want women to share their views and experiences, help improve breast screening, increase uptake, and support better outcomes for women like you.

Take part in the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/6989W6R

Caja are also working with VCSE organisations to reach women aged 47–53 and, where possible, to host small, informal focus group discussions in trusted community settings.

Why get involved?

  • Help shape local breast screening services
  • Ensure the voices of women you support are heard by service commissioners
  • Gain insight that may support your wider work
  • Acknowledgement in project outputs where appropriate

What’s involved?

  • Share information about the project and survey
  • Encourage women to take part
  • Host a focus group session if possible

You won’t be asked to facilitate sessions or create materials – this is handled by the project team.

Let’s have a quick conversation

A short conversation can help you decide whether and how you’d like to be involved, with no pressure and minimal time commitment.
