We developed and shared a range of veteran specific information to help improve awareness of health and care support available to veterans and their families across Wakefield District. This follows engagement work carried out in spring 2024, which highlighted that many veterans were unaware of specialist services and unclear about how to access appropriate support.

We are pleased to share our Quarter 2 Impact Report for 2025–2026, which highlights how people across the district have helped shape real improvements in health and social care in July, August, and September.

Our Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnerships (MNVPs) for Wakefield District and North Kirklees have shared the findings from their recent 15 Steps visit to maternity areas at Pinderfields Hospital.
